1. Board management platforms:
Does your Board use a Board management platform such as Diligent, OnBoard, etc and what are the pros and cons? (keen to hear from trustees, organisations and anyone with admin roles that use these)
We are a charity with a growing Board including the introduction of committees and the plan to expand these further in the future. We're currently using google drive which has not only security concerns but accessibility issues too. It also feels like we need something more mature as we mature as an organisation. We ideally want one place that has everything within it so trustees and relevant internal stakeholders have easy access to everything they need as well as logistical management.
2. Transcription tools
Similar question but around whether you use or don't use transcription tools (specifically for Board meetings) and why?
Again it is something we are researching but there is concern around a. the implications and effects specifically environmentally about using what would inevitably be an AI powered tool and b. the security and confidentiality of data and any recordings as a lot of the meetings are confidential.
