I am the Managing Director of a very small and new community interest company, and my team is currently thinking of converting the CIC to a CIO to help us better apply for funding in the future. Could someone who have had similar experience inform us whether the procedures for the conversion are complicated? Would need to find someone with professional legal knowledge to help us with the conversion or is it simple enough to manage it on our own?
