Advice on starting a CIC while on Universal Credit

Hello, I am in the process of starting a CIC, and currently on universal credit limited capability for work-related activity (LCWRA), and the guy who I spoke to was absolutely useless. I'm not looking at getting a salary to begin with as the project doesn't have the capability of paying 3 directors a salary.
Has anyone had any personal experience on navigating this?
