This question is from a member of our community that wishes to remain anonymous:
Can a supplier of services to our charity issue an invoice including VAT to us whilst they are waiting for their VAT number to be issued?
Also, can they reissue an earlier invoice (already paid by us) but now to include VAT and are we legally bound to pay that backdated tax please?
