Hi, I run a small patient support group charity and we have arranged a family weekend in September. Although I've posted about the meeting on our social media channels, take up is very slow, leading to concerns about it's viability. To date I have only emailed people who have signed up on our website to receive updates from us, but there are many other families I have contact details for who have not signed up. I am struggling to establish whether or not GDPR is preventing me from contacting these other families by email to encourage them to attend the weekend which, judging from all the feedback received from previous meetings, will be of great benefit to them as parents of children with a life-limiting condition.
