Hi there,
Has anyone had any governance or risk issues come up if a member of staff wants to use a preferred first name on email/external etc. rather than their legal name?
I would have thought personal choice of name was ok for email accounts/teams/video conferencing etc. as long as the legal details were on file with HR?
However recently someone has said there may be risks attached unfortunately they could not expand further on what the actual risks/governance issues could be. Would be interested to know what the risks/issues were, thank you.
