Move from Charitable Trust to CIO - Accounting

I'm looking for some accounting advice.
The small charity of which I'm treasurer has (last year) "converted" into a CIO, that is we created a new entity and have transferred all the funds and operations of the old charity into it. I now need to prepare accounts for the period ended 31st Dec 2024 for both entities.
I looked at the charity SORP and it advises that this conversion into a CIO should be treated as a merger, which I understand. However, under which entity should I report the merged accounts to the Charity Commission, and what do I report under the other entity?
Any advice would be appreciated!
