Having a background in Further Education, my focus is on Special Needs learners and my qualifications, which culminate in a Master's Degree in Education, reflect that dedication.  Whilst I have many years experience in assisting people with various different disabilities and barriers to learning, I have particular interests in Autism, Learning Challenges and Visual Impairment.

I also have experience in marketing and business admin and edited a community magazine for five years. I would be keen to help establish a social enterprise to help people who have disabilities to feel valued and involved.

I am a fellow of the Society for Education and Training, Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute and Professional Member of the British Institute of Learning Disabilities.
