After many years in the City, I walked away from my career to do something that benefits others and in turn, makes me happy.
A walking cliche yes but not a mid life crisis.
Yet...
Recently commenced a part time 6 month FTC with Open Age based in West London as an Employment Co-ordinator using my skills from a (previous) 10 year career in Recruitment and drawing upon my strengths as a Relationship Manager.
Currently utilising my strong partnership skills to raise awareness of Open Age and to secure business and vacancies from SME's and organisations based in Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham.
My previous role in Finance sector permits me to draw upon these strengths in a role that covered a wide range of accountability and streams of activity including supporting the business to ensure the organisation maintained a strong partnership with key internal and external stakeholders for funding initiatives.
Should have done this years ago but then, I'm probably not the first to say that...
