Im bringing over 12 years of experience within financial management and supporting local NGOs build financial and grant management systems. Having worked within a variety of international development charities and functions, I have supported downstream partners and country offices in financial management, grant management, project management and organisational development. Ive remotely and/or in-country supported local teams located in range of countries including Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Peru, Tanzania, Uganda, Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Somalia, Guatemala and Democratic Republic of Congo.

                I have experience of institutional funding including DFID, ECHO, UNDP, UNICEF, UNPBF, UNHCR and being financial lead on large complexed donor funded projects including Girls Education Challenge, DFID Aid Match, DFID Aid Connect and 40m DFID MOU Multi-partner grant. Extensive donor compliance, grant and financial management capabilities including proposal development, contract management, grant monitoring, project frameworks, organisational change, project management systems and variance analysis. As an advanced excel user I enjoy designing excel tools to more efficiently complete processes such as partner capacity risk assessments, budget/forecasting, project framework templates, action plans, budget monitoring analysis. I have full professional proficiency in Spanish, intermediate proficiency in French, native proficiency in English and native proficiency in Krio (of Sierra Leone).
