Hello,

I am a governance professional working within the Not-for-Profit sector, working specifically within charities since 2015.  Since 2017, I have worked for the Medical Research Foundation, the independent charitable foundation of the Medical Research Council (MRC), as the Head of Operations of Governance.  We fund those areas of medical research where there is a high clinical need, but low investment and we invest in the medical research leaders of the future to support them in their career.

It has been an incredible period of growth and development for the charity as we transitioned from being a small team hosted by the MRC, to a stand-alone employer which has trebled in size, moved into its own offices, launched a new brand, and linking other charities with our own.  I a proud to have been part of its development.
